Jamestown, North Carolina, is a small town located in the heart of the Piedmont Triad region of the state. It is a town that is steeped in history, with its roots firmly embedded in the colonial period of the United States. Jamestown was founded in 1786 by Stephen Cabiness, a Quaker. The town was named after James Cabiness, Stephen's father.
